Just had to show you the azalea shrub in our yard.  This Spring the flowers were just gorgeous.

It is difficult to find stamps for masculine cards.  This stamp does the trick.

This is a card I sent to my friend whose family owns the Richmond Metro Zoo.  It was a fun card to make with Stamps by Judy.

This is Magnolia.  She loves to make people feel better.  Hope she cheers you up, too.

This is a favorite card of mine.  I have a thing about butterflies.  I also like to use a gadget called a "Scor-buddy"  which scores the paper exactly where you want it as I did in the area between the white polka dots with the "Thinking of You" message.

Beautiful Day, April 17th

Thought I would share another picture from my photography cards.  This is a beautiful site along the Blue Ridge Parkway called Mabry's Mill.  If you haven't had the opportunity and are in Virginia, a particularly beautiful time of the year would be during the month of May and again in the Fall when the leaves are changing color.

Before I began making the cards I currently make, I photographed objects and put them on special cards, usually with a message inside, similar to this one which says, "Happiness blooms wherever you go".

Getting ready for Easter

These are three cute little figures that could be used as placecards at Easter Dinner.  I made these in a recent class. A piece of Hersey's chocolate is placed inside to hold the little fellows steady.

This is one of my favorite cards.  I love the colors.  The solid lavender paper is from Stampin Up! as is the edge punch.

Although this is a very simple card, sometimes simplicity is best.  The design is a Stampin Up! stamp, along with the Birthday Wishes stamp. The background is a Cuttlebug folder.

Today's card, Saturday, April 9th

This card used a Nestabilities item to create the swirly design at the bottom of the card.

My very first blog....

Today I am uploading my first card.  Most, but not all of the products used were by Stampin up. I will try to post a card at least once a week.
